Could it really be Friday? Thank you, universe.
On Friday, it’s all-cellphone pics, all the time, over here. I’m linking up with Ms. Jeannett:
I broke my New Year’s resolution this week when I sent my mom-in-law a text to please pass this issue of “People” along to yours truly.
She threw some other issues in, and I got sucked down the rabbit hole one night. Noooooo!
As Scarlett says, “Tomorrow is a new day!”
We do this in my family. We even have a whole photo book of them.
We’re weird.
This is not what my instagram-ed version of this picture looks like, but since Instagram is now only saving photos to my camera roll when they have been imported and then fiddled with {as far as I can tell}, I will have to live with sharing this version.
This is a beautiful window at our school district’s headquarters. I had to go to a Common Core training for English teachers yesterday. Our school district is based in an old, three-story school that is a sight to behold. I love it. Even the bathrooms are awesome, just because they are frozen in time. The whole building smells like my memory of kindergarten.
I just loved the light coming in on this stairwell. Any moment of pause during a busy week is heavenly, don’t you think?
xo,
Mrs. Fresh Scratch

I love food faces. And how fun that you have an album of them! I know what you mean about old schools and their scent bringing you back to kindergarten. So magical!
Scent memory is such a magical thing, yes! And it always takes me by surprise. Hope you had a great weekend, Jessica!
Heavenly, indeed!
