What a week! I laughed. I cried. A couple of times.
But now it’s Friday. Nothin’ to cry about here!
Here’s the story of my week, via my Instagram pics (you can follow me at kellisamson). As usual, I’m linking up over here:

Mr. Fresh Scratch played the piano for a mustache Valentine party last weekend, and the kids and I tagged along. What is up with the mustache craze?! I mean, it’s hilarious and I love it and there’s lots of references to Magnum P.I. {awesome!}, but, really. What is going on with it? Why??
I have been invited to an MS fundraiser by my friend Callie’s mom-in-law for eons, but I could never make it. This year, I made it a point to finally get my buns there.
It didn’t hurt that it was held at the Glassy Baby studios in the Magnolia district of Seattle {for you Kurt Cobain/Nirvana fans, this is the part of Seattle where Kurt and Courtney were living when he died}.
It also didn’t hurt that my BFF Shara wanted a ticket to come with me! But we missed you, Callie!
What a blast – more fun than I ever have had on a Sunday night, for sure. Look for a full post on it soon!
Look at my sweet Teensy-Weensy. Just look. I had to take her picture the other day. I absolutely love that corduroy jumper, and she just got some sweet hand-me-down shoes from her favorite hand-me-down-er. I love those Cindy Brady-esque pigtails. Don’t get me started on those cheeks. I just adore that darling girl. She has a heart of gold, too.
You know I love to take pics of the cool things they write on this sign. Valentine’s Day’s message was worthy of my pulling over.
I really thought about what it meant.
And here’s why my post is late today. We went up to Mt. Rainier to do some sledding. I packed a fancy picnic lunch, and we got dressed in three layers each.
But look at that sky. This pic has no filtering whatsoever. We seriously enjoyed ourselves in just our shirts and snow pants – no gloves or hats or any of those doodads. It was a glorious day.
I love sledding – it’s like boogie boarding or water skiing; it makes me squeal and laugh like a kid.
But then Teensy crashed head-on with another kid, and it was down, down, down the mountain to the doctor before he closed. Luckily, there was no broken arm.
This tired mama is over and out. Happy Weekend!

Oh ouch. Glad it turned out ok
